Remedio Raises $65M to Usher in a New Era of Device Posture Management
5:01

Six years ago, we set out with a simple but ambitious mission: to make enterprise devices safer — not just monitored. We built carefully, profitably, and independently, guided by the belief that enterprises deserve more than endless alerts.

Today, that mission has a new name and a new scale. GYTPOL is now Remedio - a name that reflects our commitment to go beyond detection and deliver safe, continuous correction.

And we’re taking another big step forward: we’ve raised $65 million in our first-ever funding round, led by Bessemer Venture Partners. This investment will fuel our global expansion and accelerate our product vision to set a new standard in device posture management.

Why Remedio?

The name Remedio captures our unique promise: not just to find risks, but to fix them - safely, continuously, and at scale.

  • Yesterday’s problem: A lack of visibility punctuated by uncertainty around what's actually happening - what's working and what isn't.
  • Today’s problem: Visibility without clear direction or actionability. This normally manifests in one of two ways, sometimes both.

    • IT and security teams drowning in alerts, with uncertain follow up and increasing desensitization.

    • Operators that know they have problems but don't know how to take action without compromising (or risking compromise to) required functionality.

  • Remedio's solution: Automated, trusted remediation that ensures every device is secure, compliant, and resilient.

More Than Funding — A Platform for Growth

This milestone isn’t just about capital. It’s about building the future of device security. With this funding, we’re evolving from configuration-focused remediation into a comprehensive device posture management platform. The goal: delivering end-to-end protection.

Zero-days are a real problem, but they're not the only problem. Unfortunately in an effort  to keep them at bay, most organizations routinely overlook more common - and statistically more devastating - threats. The combined toll of misconfigurations, weak controls, and compliance gaps wreak immense havoc on businesses every single day.

That’s where Remedio comes in to shut down the most available and exploitable attack paths. As Adam Fisher, Partner at Bessemer, put it:

“Remedio has won over some of the top enterprises in the world through their ability to uncover and remediate critical endpoint vulnerabilities missed by EDR and CSPM platforms.”

From misconfigurations to vulnerabilities, patch management to compliance assurance, and application control to autonomous hardening - Remedio offers a unified solution. Putting our funding to work, we'll focus on:

  • Deeper integrations: Seamless interoperability with IT and security tools, enabling faster, smarter workflows.
  • Enterprise-scale security: SaaS or air-gapped on-prem deployments, ready for the most highly regulated industries.

  • Faster innovation: Accelerated development cycles to stay ahead of today’s threats.

Powered by Customer Trust

Trusted by hundreds of enterprises and Fortune 500s - including beloved Colgate-Palmolive, Kraft Heinz, Eaton, and Coca-Cola Hellenic., Remedio has always believed in product-led growth.

And it's a strategy that's paid dividends with the company's loyal fan base.

“Remedio has given us a new depth of visibility into our IT landscape, allowing us to improve our security posture easily across the company. What started with Active Directory has now expanded to data centers, end-user computing, and even manufacturing environments."
Alex Schuchman, CISO at Colgate-Palmolive

“Remedio offers automated endpoint security remediation, making what is normally a reactive and time-consuming process proactive and easy. We’re using their technology to help secure Amazon.”
CJ Moses, CISO and VP of Security Engineering at Amazon

When our customers succeed, we succeed. And together, we’re building a safer digital world - one device, one misconfiguration, one enterprise at a time. And this funding allows us to reinvest directly into making our platform even more powerful and more far-reaching.

Looking Ahead

We aim for nothing less than to change the face of the industry. It's a lofty goal to be sure, but we're making steady headway and we're beginning to gain attention for our efforts. Case in point, Forbes recently featured a story on Remedio, spotlighting our vision for the future of cybersecurity and how we got her, led by our inimitable CEO, Tal Kollender.

We began as a bootstrapped startup with a bold idea and today we stand on a global stage with world-class partners by our side. But this is only the beginning.

In the year ahead, we’ll scale our platform, expand globally, and deepen our integrations - while setting a new standard for proactive, end-to-end protection - helping enterprises securely scale and thrive in an ever-changing world.

Here’s to the next chapter. 🚀

FAQ

What is Device Posture Management (DPM)?
Device Posture Management is the continuous process of assessing, securing, and maintaining the security state of enterprise devices throughout their lifecycle. Unlike point-in-time assessments, DPM continuously detects misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, compliance gaps, and configuration drift, then helps organizations remediate them before they can be exploited.
How is Device Posture Management different from vulnerability management?
Traditional vulnerability management focuses primarily on software flaws and missing patches. Device Posture Management expands that scope to include secure configurations, compliance settings, application control, operating system hardening, identity-related controls, and continuous configuration validation. The goal is to reduce overall exposure, not simply patch vulnerabilities.
Why are organizations moving beyond detection-only security tools?
Most enterprises already know about far more security issues than they can realistically remediate. The challenge has shifted from finding risks to safely fixing them. Organizations increasingly prioritize platforms that can automate validation, remediation, and continuous enforcement to reduce the growing backlog of known exposures.
What problems does continuous Device Posture Management solve?
Continuous Device Posture Management helps organizations reduce configuration drift, maintain compliance, prevent recurring exposure, improve operational consistency, and shorten the time between discovering and eliminating security weaknesses. It also provides ongoing assurance that previously remediated issues remain fixed.
Why do misconfigurations remain one of the biggest security risks?
Misconfigurations are introduced through routine operational changes, software deployments, temporary exceptions, and infrastructure updates. Without continuous validation, secure baselines gradually drift, creating exploitable weaknesses that often persist long after they were first introduced.
Can Device Posture Management improve regulatory compliance?
Yes. By continuously validating devices against frameworks such as CIS, NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA, and other organizational standards, Device Posture Management helps reduce audit preparation effort while providing ongoing evidence that security controls remain properly configured.
Why is safe remediation becoming more important than faster detection?
As attack timelines continue to shrink, organizations gain little value from identifying exposures they cannot confidently remediate. Safe remediation capabilities, such as dependency validation, staged deployment, testing, and rollback, allow security teams to reduce risk without introducing operational disruption.
How does Device Posture Management support enterprise resilience?
By continuously maintaining secure device configurations, organizations reduce the likelihood of attackers exploiting known weaknesses, minimize configuration drift, improve operational stability, and ensure that security improvements persist even as environments change over time.
Can Device Posture Management reduce security tool sprawl?
Yes. Many organizations rely on separate products for vulnerability management, compliance monitoring, configuration assessment, and remediation. A unified Device Posture Management platform can consolidate many of these operational workflows, reducing complexity while improving visibility and execution.
Why is Remedio describing Device Posture Management as the next stage of enterprise security?
The next stage of enterprise security is not simply identifying more risks, but continuously correcting them. Remedio's approach combines continuous visibility with automated remediation and ongoing validation to help organizations maintain a secure device posture as infrastructure, applications, and business requirements constantly evolve.
